    Default A few Daylillies

A couple in bloom today. I transplanted a lot of them from pots to ground earlier this year and they don't seem to be interested in blooming for me.

Very pretty! I planted about 40 bulbs and have had red, yellow, and white ones blooming for the past few weeks. My orange ones (I posted last year on here somewhere) are in bud and will open soon.

    Cheers!

They are beautiful! Would certainly make any garden come alive with those colours... my fave is the last one... bright red!

These lilies are not as pretty as the ones Diane grows and they are a different type, so they may not be daylilies--they are cute in any case. The ants love them. I just wish the flowerbeds were not so full of grass!!! After these guys die back, I am going to 'round-up' the grass. It is taking over!

They are all beautiful ! I spent the Am. pulling grass and Hollyhocks out of the flower bed, did not make a dent in it . I have mutant weeds used a weed killer this spring on an area .. they got bigger lol . Gin

Those are asiatic lillies. Very nice plants, should multiply every year.

I bought a bagged mix of 25 bulbs on clearance & most were already sprouting. I planted them in the only bare spot I have left with afternoon sun and almost all of them are growing, some now have buds 3 bloomed, 2 had mutant blooms, but still pretty & this one is perfect...
1 plant had 2 blooms this morning, but didn't get pic yet What's funny is that the plants are short with big blooms...LOL

No lilies here yet. Too much cold and rain!

But my iris (tall bearded and siberian) are going to town. Will post pics, when I can take some.

Ok, these are daylilies this time. The only one we have and the poor thing is so sad looking. I guess it is past its pretty stage. The ants are all over it!
