This plumeria came from Thailand last year as a cutting. It was supposed to be lavender and yellow. It's white and yellow. At least it smells nice.

Traci,
It might be the correct plant, but some aspect of the culture can be suppressing the lavender color from being expressed.
I know nothing about plumerias or lavender pigments, but it do know that in red orchids, bright light and cool temperatures tend to develop better color, and in hydrangeas, soil pH can cause a plant to bloom red or blue, so do some googling and don't lose hope!
I've never seen a Lavender and Yellow plumeria. I believe I posted earlier that when I first came to Hawaii, I collected cutting of all the plumerias I ran into. I wound up with at least two dozen of them, but never had a lavender one. Some come close but in reality, it's yellow and dark pink. Would love to see Lavender and Yellow.
Yellow center and White petals unless something happened to it is usually either Celadine or Singapore plumeria. The difference is that Singapore has a rounder leaf while the Celadine is more pointed. Sometimes, I see adds for Hawaiian Plumeria that looks very much like the Celadine, so I don't know if they just wanted to put the Hawaiian name in it to make it look authentic.
Here's one, but I don't know what it is?
Let's hope this attaches correctly. I used my phone to upload the other one so perhaps that is the issue? I will see if I can find the picture of what the plumeria should look like. It isn't the correct shape as the other one is a Singapore shape from what Kauaiguy has described.
I have some reading to do for my clinics that I will be in tomorrow (HIV) but after that if time is left I am going to research the pH or any other culture factors that could cause the change that Ray has alluded to. I have another one that isn't yet blooming (very slow grower). It is supposed to be blue but we will see what color it turns out to be.
OK, It's not Celedine because Celedine has a large amount of yellow coming from the center. It may not be a Singapore because Singapore's petals are more rounder at the top. The closest I can come to it is a White Ibis Plumeria. Do I see a pinkish tip on one of the flowers?
Anyway I have both the Celadine and the Singapore in my yard, but not the White Ibis. Hope you can get a name so we can look it up.

Those are nice!
LOL Jack! My yard is getting smaller and smaller and looking like a nursery. I'm surprised that my neighbors don't complain because I live in an Association where we have to keep things neat and tidy. Like I said, I had something like 28 plumerias in pots, most of which is still at my ex's house. So are some of my orchids ... you know how that goes .. Divorce ..SUCKS.
My favorite of the Plumerias is one called: Daisy Wilcox which is very fragrant and has 4 to 5 inch flowers.
I've been trying to grow this into a tree but so far no luck, but I'll keep trying because that's were I got the cuttings from about 8 years ago. A tree at a real estate agency yard. SNIP!
This is what I purchased. I bought three cuttings including one for a friend as part of her wedding gift - she was married in Maui and loved the plumeria. I will see if any of the three turn out to be the correct plumeria. As an interesting side note... The seller is no longer listed online.
These are so nice. I recently became interested in growing these. I had two cuttings shipped to me from Hawaii about six months ago. They're growing nicely and I'm looking forward to the blooms. It's a light yellow color.
