    Unhappy Sick Orchid

Help! I got this off a sale table about 2 weeks ago and it seemed to be doing fine. Last night, I came home and the leaves were as shown in the photo. The only thing I've done different was feed it (diluted orchid food) 3 days ago. Did I over feed??? What am I doing wrong?

Can anyone please help me save my baby??

    Thanks
    Nanci

Nanci, that looks like sunburn.... have the leaves had extra sun recently, or maybe water on the leaves while the sun was shining on it?

I could of course be totally wrong, so we'd best wait for the others to get a second and third and 4th opinion...

I agree .. it might look rough for awhile but will start new growth from the base of the old canes .. nothing you did to it . Gin

Ive seen some of the Den biggibum/phaleonopsis (not sure which that is) hybrids drop leaves from over watering and temp. That does look like sunburn in the cane that has a fried leaf but the axil area is still green, the smaller cane looks like over watering/temperature fluctuations. Could go either way.
