I wasn't to sure where to put this so if it needs to be moved so be it. One of Canada's top orchid growers, Mario Ferrusi, passed away this past Saturday. I only met him once and knew he had been ill but still a bit of a shock. Very nice man, never developed the "orchid snob" attitude that some people in orchid circles are known for. Search using his name and you will find an incredible array of plants created and awards won over many long years.
