I see that I posted pics of this species - the same plant in fact, when it flowered twelve months ago , so will only add a couple of pics here .Anyone who wants more details or close-ups can find the earlier post by a simple search. The same 4 flowering growths - I have a fifth growth this year, which I hope would be strong enough to add a fifth spike, but no so. However there are more flowers per spike ; difficult to count, but I think up from 9 or so, to over a dozen. The plant will be repotted when the flowers are over, and perhaps that will give it a bit of a boost ... fingers crossed.
Pretty white blooms
Nice! They look very fragile.
Nicely done Geoff.
Nice Geoff!
Beautiful! I'm not familiar with the genus or species. How do you care for it? And where did you buy yours?

It is a relative of Coelogyne, Pleione, Dendrochilum.... High altitude, S.E.Asia. so cool conditions. we don't name nurseries in this forum - if they want advertismentsthey have to pay for them. But of you live in UK, any other EU country, or somewhere not subscribing to CITES, pm me, and I' ll give you a name and address.
That is a very nice orchid! Great growing!
Very nice specimen! This is one of our local species, common in the highlands, don't think it thrives well grown uniformly hot. I saw several plants in-situ but were without flower. By the way, the genus name is Chelonistele.
