1st flowering seedling. Not a bad start, I have a few more seedlings to go.
Just love these Catts, always have since I started growing Catts many years ago.

Looks awesome!!
Beautiful!
I love the texture of this group - way different from that of the big dowiana etc hybrids, more like wax, and so much longer lasting as a result . I have a hybrid in the group, can't remember its name, I bought it in flower on November 3rd, and the spike is still good , well, not perfect , but still a nice splash of colour on the bench.
A beauty.
Love it!
Beautiful! Are you growing this in maximum light, Roy? I don't have this, but have a medium size amethystoglossa which grew some bulbs but looks skinny.
This is under 70% shade at the minute. It does get very good light most of the year. I have 2 amethystoglossa plants just down the bench from this & they are growing well, one with thick canes, the other not quite so much but building.
I can't grow a lot of things in "maximum" light here in the summer, they would cook completely in one day. Very different light & heat here to their native environ's & in other parts of the country. Trial & error situation.
Beautiful !
