    Usually not directly harmful, springtails can often be an indication that conditions stay moist and perhaps media is breaking down, or drip trays are dirty. They can spread bacterial or fungal diseases. Check root health and repot sooner rather than later. They usually don't persist in large numbers in fresh media.

    I think you may be right. I did see one jump once. Probably an adult? I googled springtail larvae and.....it sure looks like what I am seeing. Thank you so much! Now I have to figure out how to get rid of the buggers!
