I think that the fragrance of flowers is like spices, when we treat a concrete like cinnamon we all know what we are talking about, another thing is the intesidad.
I suspected Oncidium ornithorynchum and Clowesia rosea, but in certain books and sources does not record, in the end it is the experience of companions like you who can help me in that search for highly fragrant species. For against Tuberolabium quisumbingii and Lycaste aromatica are reputed to be quite fragrant.

My Cattleya mossiae is very fragrant. I can stay in my window the whole day smelling its pleasant fragrance without even sticking the nose into the flower.

An important web told me that the most fragrant cattleya is the tigrina, can anyone confirm this?

Many thanks to everyone for the contributions. My biggest disappointment was the zygopetalum, I thought it was going to be very aromatic and it was just the opposite.

I understood that hybrids smell less than the botanical progenitors

Mtdm. Pacific Waters I believe that as a general rule the botanical form has more fragrance than the hybrid

I have this Mtdm. Pacific Waters 'Paul's Pride' in bloom right now and it smells divine. For some reason I can't smell it today, but I have two more spikes coming!
