Do all _____________sell vandas somewhere? I have never noticed, but only because I was looking for real looking orchids... now I will have to go do a bunch of boxstore runs I fear!! LOL

LOL! I did the same thing about 1 week ago. I occasionally go to BOX STORES to see if there's anything interesting there and I found one of the little vanda type plants too. Is yours called Ascda. Cherry? That's what the tag on mine says. I'm waiting for the buds to plump up and open. I was tempted to get a couple more just because they were fairly cheap and in spike. They also have little yellow and blue guys. I might go back to see if any of those spike.

    Ptaszek,
Yes, mine is the same as yours...LOL It was the only one they had, so I'm definitely going back to look for the other colors!

    Tikva,
The vandas we're talking about come packaged in bags, usually on a display with bagged catts. & dens. I bought a very nice size Catt. in a bag for less than $15, a deal in my book

Default bagged vanda in full bloom

Picture from today, flowers are more red, sun makes them look orange.
So tiny & cute! This plant is for 'instant gratification' people like me
