It is a month later, I bet the rest of the leaf is now growing out of the center?

    Hi Matt,

I've been patiently waiting for this phal to decide what it wants to do. Since I started this thread, it's put out 4 new roots! When they first showed up as little nubbins on the stem, I was convinced they were keikis as the others suggested... but nope! They were all roots.

2 days ago I checked the crown and as expected, the part of the leaf that broke has dried up. However, upon closer inspection, it seems there is a new leaf forming! I'm not sure if you can see, but there is definitely something there. So exciting!!

Looks like a leaf growing. Keep the foliage dry and hopefully become better.
