Hello again!
It's been ages since I last visited. Anyway this is one instance that I couldn't resist to share some photos from a friend of his orchid farm-villa.
This is the time of year in my country, the Philippines, when the endemic Vanda sanderianas bloom!
Most of the sanderianas are mounted on tree and palm trunks that surround the farm-villa and gives them an "in situ" effect. They are sanderianas of different varieties and forms, some regular colored, light, dark, pinkish, light pink, some semi-albas, some greenish and some rare alba forms. A very rare few are natural jungle collected types. All in all they make a spectacular sight!
Anyway, without much adieu here are the photos - ENJOY!
(The identity and location of my friends' farm-villa is kept anonymous for privacy and security reasons)
I would like to reiterate these sanderianas are not mine but belong to a friend.
I'm only sharing his photos for everyone here to enjoy!

and finally, the grand display from a single plant!
Fabulous with 9 SPIKES!!!! WOW!!!!
Very nice! Too bad the 9 spike one probably only can be displayed with the tree it's attached to.
Quite the collection and show!
