    Angry A Very destructive mouse!

Have a quick question… I had a very Destructive mouse Get into the orchids that I grow under lights… He turned over pots,Dug out the plants, and chewed three orchid seedlings (Cattleya)
Off at the top of the potting media.I replanted everything, although I don’t think it will do any good. My question is… Is there a chance at all that they will Re-grow? I have not had them long,But they had good root systems, and were putting out new roots and leaves.
    P. S. The mouse is no more…

As long as there is at least one eye remaining they stand a chance. For me it's squirrels. Half a dozen of my neighbors are always feeding the damn things. Then they come to my place for dessert.

Chances are good they will recover if given proper care! We tend to forget that they do well in the wild where we get them from and have survived for a very long time, humans are more dangerous to wild orchids then the environment!

Thank you! As bad as I feel, you gave me the best laugh I’ve had all day!
At least I know he won’t be back to make a Mail of the rest of them!
