    Default oncidium rebloom

Ok, I thought they didn't rebloom on the same stem? One of my oncidiums has been out of bloom for several months but the stalks have yet to die off and now something(doesn't look like a keiki) is sprouting out of the base of one of the stalks? Another is still green many months after blooming and appears to be waiting to do something. This is new for me. I have grown oncidium and odontocidiums for some time and have never seen this.

Perhaps you could post a picture but I've seen it happen a few times.

I have one doing the exact same thing right now charity.
Had 2 nice long spikes in bloom for close to 2 months and all of a sudden a new spike started to develop from the bottom of one of the other spent spikes (as if a branch) just as I was getting ready to snip it off. No where near as long as first 2 spikes yet but it may yet get there.

Not uncommon for this to happen.
