The error that Hoa mentioned a few posts back should not be happening. The server should be able to handle multiple request for uploads at the same time. I think it is something in the programming of the php script on the upload page, so we are working on another option. This should make it easier for people to submit. When we get it finished, I will post here again and send you a PM so you can upload the earlier photos again if you want to. The text file came through just fine.
Anyone else who had trouble should try again as soon as we get the new software correctly working on the server --likely in the next day or two. The regular upload page is still working for some people. There were some more uploads yesterday and last night.
Thanks for everyone's participation and patience!
Cheers!

Hi BD,
I tried to upload the pictures many times afterward at different time and different files but still got the same error message. So I will wait until your new software announcement. Thanks.
Best. Hoa.
BD,
why would you prefer a Jpg instead of a Tiff? Dont' get that.
The resolution of an image drops when you save it as a jpg.
16 bit or 8 bit?
Veronica
ok sorry I just read the guidelines, but no mnetion the 16 or 8 bit preference?
me too!!!Originally Posted by Hoa Tony Nguyen

Tiff files are much prefered. I explain a bit about it in an earlier post and also in the Submission Guidelines page at the website. The higher the bits, the higher number of colors, so the more bits the better.

yes I know that BD, all I'm asking if you can handle a 16 bit file, some earlier versionds of photoshop can't unless u have a plung -in.
Oh, sorry, yes I can handle the 16 bit file! I have Photoshop CS2. I did not understand your question. Oops!Originally Posted by Ferrari
