    Default Phal speciosa

at least that's what I wanted and what the tag says it is.
Bought this last spring so a first bloom for me.
Was surprised to see it as an alba with purple on the lip. Maybe var, testraspis????
Maybe second bud will be more typical bi-color when that opens. Interesting.......

    As promised....the mystery continues.
2nd flower is virtually all purple and first was solid white.
Bud #3 from how it's developing looks like it will fall somewhere in between first 2 flowers as far as coloration goes.
From a little research, it sounds like a wide diversity of bloom coloration on individual plants is not at all unusual in this species.
    I do like it!
