I bought the plant in bud. Flowers gone now and new growth is starting. All good. Pretty sure that the 3" pot is full of roots even though there seems to be enough surface real estate for another growth. I wonder if it's better to go up to a 4" rather than a 5". Don't they like to repotted annually anyway? I'm going to be changing the medium as well. It's in sphagnum, which looks to be very closely packed, but still in good shape. Definitely well-drained. I'm a believer in sphagnum. I love it as a medium, but I'm wondering if I could get level of "closeness" without damaging roots. I've got three different seedling-grade bark-based mix candidates, any of which would probably be fine aside from an adjustment set-back. Comments? Thanks.
