Goodness! I take a little nap and Diane gets the upper - hand on our dear Julie.
Some 'nearly naked guy in a sarong’ talks about the summer solstice and another thread is hijacked! LOL! What a day.

Funny, with the time warp yesterday, I should have seen this coming...

    Cheers!

Well... while trying to post this reply I got time warped right out of the site, with what looked to be a server blink...so some force is at work!

I was saying that BD's correlation between the uncanny RVO time warp and the summer solstice may not be coincidence...

Many cultures that predate ours by thousands of years assign significant magical properties to the quarter holidays (that is, solstices and equinoxes.) In Celtic myth two great kings battle each solstice, one winning every summer and one each winter. Trees represent the kings (trees represent everything in Celtic myth) and the Holly King wins each summer and rules the next six month, while the Oak King wins at Yule and rules during the waxing of the year.

I'm thinking that the Oak King sabotaged the RVO server so that the solstice wouldn't happen and he could cover his butt for the next six months, not letting the Holly King whomp him. Gotta tell you - I'm impressed with how these dudes have embraced technology!
