    Default Catasetum Lovena

    More then half the amount of blooms I got last year but due to finding out to late that when the rains started here during the summer that I had not turned the irrigation system off where these are kept, only found out when I turned all the rest of them back on and found this one still on, way to much water for them. It has effected all my Catasetum/Cynoches species this year, but the extra water did cause lots of new PB's to grow. Soon to go into a winter rest till spring.

    With that and the 10 minutes per day of the irrigation did not help but I am happy with what I got, thanks Sheryl

    I'd be happy too! My Cycnodes is spiking now so looking forward to the blooms. One spike this year. A couple of years ago it had 2 so not sure why only one since then. The pseudo bulb is really big so I thought I might get 2 this year.

    I have another Catasetum that did not spike till a couple weeks ago, after I figured out what was going on, and it looks like it will give me a good amount of blooms, even a double spike.
