I have never seen a Zygo. that big. Is it possibly mis-labeled and is something else?

maybe, I trust the nursery that sent it to me (even though they said 15-18 inches). I may have gotten the one hybrid that happens to be a giant :/

It's blue blazes barrie ford btw
It is just the way the plant has been grown ; the "tallest" leaves are like mother-in-law's tongue ( Sansievera trifasciata) - straight up. Normally the leaves flex outwardly and downwardly, reducing the height.
My guess is that this is one of a batch of many plants - maybe a hundred - who knows, placed together with th pots almost touching, and this is the only way the leaves could grow, because of all the others.
My zygos do average 15-18 inches, but if I hold the leaves up straight, like this, some of them are over 30 inches.
Well, in one way that's a relief. But if they go outward I have a 32" wide orchid :/ Also a bit too big for my window.

And just saw today that it's sending up a flower spike, so about to get even taller.
Well I've got plenty of room for it Charity lol!!
Me too!
And, I was thinking the same thing as Geoff. Likely it was forced to get light this way by being packed in with many others in a crate in the grow house. The leaves should naturally re-adjust with space. It is beautiful. I cannot wait to see the blooms!!
cheers,
BD
I may have to buy a new house to fit it in, but dammit, it's gonna fit.
