'albosanguineum' is posh for 'white and red' or what in Catts, we call semi-alba - my favourite kind of cats.

Quite big flowers here, over 6 inches across, natural spread. There were 7 buds, but nature;p clumsiness, or distraction or whatever, reduced them.

Adding this one to my Christmas arrangement in my hall has not quite worked out, as the flowers are lost against the pale coloured wall ; I suppose I could paint the wall black ( joke !)
or take the arrangement apart and start agin, but i think I will just leave it.

And whilst mentioing the C word ( or X word) my best wishes to all who read this. Do have a good Christmas, I shall try to, whatever.
