Dendrobium transparens
Dendrobium transparens is a species in the same section as Den.nobile ( and many others). It "should" have pink flowers. It used to do this too - but year-by-year they got paler. But to cut a long story short, it is not the plant which has changed but the culture. Year-by-year my greenhouse roof got dirtier, and once I passed the mid-point in my eighties I stopped climbing ladders and scrambling about on roofs - greenhouse or not - and the light inside got less and less. I have now established to my own satisfaction at least, that in Section Dendrobium of the genus Dendrobium, poor light mean poor colour in the flowers.
Oddly enough it does not mean poor culture elsewhere ; each year my dendrobes produce better and better canes. See the 2019 ones seen in one of the pics - about twice as large ( long) as the plant used to produce, and is still considered the norm. And consequently with twice as many nodes = flower stems.
Agree or not, its all up to you , but me - I like these nearly white flowers.
