Recently noticed yellowing areas a a newer vanda I got, thought perhaps too much light or a nutrient issue. Upon closer inspection, noticed tiny yellowish critters and some webbing. Have to assume spider mites. What is the best approach to eliminating these beasties? My phone isn't up to the task of taking pictures that far into macro or I would attach a pic. Thank you for any advice on what would work and not be harmful to the plant.

Need to spray with miticide can get the brand Ortus with the active ingredient is FENPYROXIMATE. Also can use Neem oils.
Can also use insecticidal soap.
You might consider a product called "Azamax". It is a concentrated form of azadirachtin, the active ingredient in neem oil, without the issues of applying oils to orchids.
It is an insecticide AND miticide, works on contact and has systemic value, but what really makes it unique is that - unlike most other products that only kill adults - it is effective on eggs and juveniles, too.
It's not cheap, but a little goes a long way.
Another alternative is Bio Advanced 3-in-1 Insect, Disease, and Mite Control, available at most big chain hardware stores.
Thanks, everyone!

If you don't have those chemical-grade insecticeds, you can use rubbing alcohol, just dip cotton balls into it and wipe across the foliage of your plant. Good luck!
Suppose I should have used 70% isopropanol. Didn't look at the label, used 90% ( I have been making my own hand sanitizer). Developed black spots Where I used it within a couple hours. Well, probably killed the beasties! Live and learn.
