Exclamation Need suggestions on labs or people!!!!!!!!!!

I forgot about this Stanhopea cross I did and one of the pods burst on me. the other is ready for harvest and I have done no research on labs. The guy I used to use is no longer propagating and I need suggestions. I need them quick as I need to harvest the pod in the next day or two.

    Thanks!!!

Persistence, try Linda Thorne at Seagrove Orchids. She's extremely honest and a great person to work with, and I think she might do your stanhopea. The only thing she definitely will not do are Paphs.

Wish I could offer to do it, but I think it'll be a little while yet until I have the flasking thing down.

Let us know who you use! I'm trying to decide whether to send off or risk destroying a cross I've got maturing right now.

Well, I had a guy from another forum offer to do it as long as he gets half of the flasks which I guess is OK. we agreed that he doesn't get to know the cross until I get my half and he seems like a good guy. hope this works out. It should be a neat one. Of course, I have not had any bad crosses. heh heh

Thanks for the help and I will definitely keep Linda's #.

I've been to Linda's and she's really, really nice. For what it's worth, I'd trust her in a minute.

Persistence, does that guy do flasking commercially? Good labs are incredibly hard to find, and the growers that have one are *extremely* tight-lipped about who it is. If it's not a problem and he's not a hobby flasker, could you post who he is? I know I'd definitely be interested, maybe other people too, especially if he's reputable and does paphs....
