These mallows grow wild in NW FL/ SE/AL. The large ones (Rose Mallow, or Swamp Mallow) grow up to eight feet tall and the flowers are 8 - 10 inches across. The smaller ones are Marsh Mallows - I love that name! They grow up to five feet tall and the flowers are 3 - 4 inches. It's so neat to drive thru areas where Ivan killed most the trees with salt water and see these beauties thriving.
