    Question Burned my leaves (pictures)

I forgot my orchid in the sun, now the leaves are burnt. Should I cut them off?

    Thanks for the help!

I would, I don't know how badly the lower leaves are burned, but they could survive. You don't want the upper leaves to get soft and mushy laying on the lower leaves.. I would also cut off the spike so the plant can concentrate on healing.

OH--so sad! It's so easy to make a mistake like that, especially with a phal. I imagine it will heal and start to grow new leaves, but nothing a phal does seems to go very fast. Sigh.

Welcome Carla! I would cut off the spike and keep a close eye on the leaves. If they do start to get mushy, then remove.

    Cheers!
