    Hi Kirstie!

Julie from Iowa was feeling estranged because we had a Julie...moi. I had just posted a thread on the Highland games I'd been to in Maine, and Mehera joked I was "McJulie." That's how it began.

I figured if Julie in Iowa felt she should qualify her name, I should too. I never bought the exclusive rights...

It's no biggie - just fun.

    McJ

I think McJ is cute. I've always been jealous of nicknames lol. The only nickname I got was Kirst and while it meant people really loved me to call me it....... it was rare and not all that cute LOL.
I like McJulie and think it should stick around..... and you with it ;c)
    G'night...

And and what goes around comes around... I'm wanting more Neo's now. You all outordered me....... *sigh*

The neos that I have referenced are not hybrids, and are not cheap. I saw some reasonably priced ones of the traditional white and white with pink colors at the last orchid show. The yellow, coerulea, orange and green flowered neofinetia falcatas I saw were in Japan. The more unusual ones were in the $500 - $1000 range per plant.

I bought the Neo falcata which is the exact one that tops this thread. I just love the pretty white and I got it for $18 plus post. I see it for around $30 plus post. so I thought I would take advantage. Oh and I thought it might be a bit confusing with two Julie's so I decided to go with putting my state on it. I never had a nickname either, Tikva!! LOL Course there may be additivies to this when the cold and snowy winds start to blow around here. I HATE winter with a passion!!!!!!
