    Happy to report I found orchids - finally. They were in the local art gallery. Jacqueline Bishop is a painter being featured in the gallery here. Her work is strange and wonderful at the same time. It is full of birds, orchids, moths, and vines. Google her name to see more, but here are two of her paintings:





    Do the orchids I purchase for $500 have to be living? hehehe...

    I think it would be good to hear why we choose the orchids (for example: is it the color, fragrance, growing habit, an easy grower etc.) This would make it a little more personal. I guess I like to hear what others like and why. What do you think?
