Wow I'm impressed.....you remembered my Keikei!! Its fine....growing slowly and I'm always worried about watering vs NOT watering since someone around here mentioned the "not watering" thing during the winter.

And Piper: I STILL can't figure out what your avatar is....at FIRST I thought it was fingers on a cutting board that had been cut off (ohhh gawwwd, I'm sick, SICK i tell you).

I don't get the "pipes". (perhaps I need glasses)

Doodle, my avatar has morphed. I know I need a new one, but the days have been busy!

It started out as a mouse after cheese, but then I edited it and replaced the cheese with bagpipes. Them being a much more potent motivator for moi!

It is time, though! If Clint can sport stripes, I need to paint some different colors!

OK, time for some math. This thread started on 10/31. The pods were (estimated) 5-6 months old at that time. (HINT: Do you remember the closest holiday or special event to when you pollenated them?) Anyway, that was 2.5 months ago. Using the original guesstimate that would put them at 7.5 to 8.5 months now.

Oh, we're getting close to green pod time!!!!!

So, what was that holiday or special event?

    Default MATH???

Oh God I had a NIGHTMARE about math last night. Wow....I think its about time to ship these puppies off....

I have NO idea...but maybe it was Easter? I know they bloom in the spring. Hmmm....

I don't know how many seeds dend. produces, but (and here is some more math for you ) I think that even if only 20% get to the point of compotting you would have more than enough for everyone that would be interested here, your friends and your friend's friends!!!

Hi all, about the watering, I just bought one and was told by the supplier no water at all over winter otherwise it will not flower. Hope that helps.

doodlekitty, have you found a picture of the other parent? Rereading this thread reminded me of my dend frustration: grandson lost name tag to this plant a couple of years ago, this year I finally got it to produce buds, they, blasted, I still don't know what the plant's name is. Arghhh! Next year.

Hi all.....I can't believe the thread is still going.....
Welllllllll....while I DO have pics, it reallyl doesn't matter now because, just like I was warned they would do...the little rascals popped and now there are zillions of seeds all over my patio.... boo hoo hoo...I got too sidetracked and they totally caught me off guard.
