There are scores of noid white phals available and without a tag to start with it will be nearly impossible to possitively id yours - it sure is good lookin' though. Good job - both on the growing and also on such a good buy. mike

No kidding. I was at a garage sale and the lady had three orchids for sale, this one, a dendrobium and, and well maybe it was only two? Anyway, it bloomed for me this summer. Here is a sequence of photos of it blooming.

Mike is right - Phals are quite impossible to ID if you don't have a name. They're so heavily hybridized, many look alike and have very different parentage.
It is a lovely white, though! And all the more special for the bargain it presented you!

I got the Dend to bud, but that is as far as it would go for me. It is currently at a club friends house "learning" how to flower in his new greenhouse with HIGH output lighting. He told me one bud is progressing.
