    That's really fastinating! I had no idea that the sap could get pushed out of the joints, but it makes perfect sense.

    I'm impressed, Todd- I don't think I would have tasted the sap!! That's rather brave of you!! hahaha...

    My Ascda has it on its spike too, I was wondering about it only a couple of days ago in fact. Fascinating, not sure if I'll be tasting it though.

    I tasted my Oncidium dew. Very sweet. I'm still alive. This past autumn while taking a wetlands course, I also ate a wild giant puffball, honey suckle, locust tree fruit, and swallowed a few live fish straight from the sea. And on those day long trips, when lunch time came along, I never washed my hands. Yea, I need to get a CAT Skan. But Im still alive!! Hehe.
