Default oncidium noid It's noid season

This has been a dependable plant for the last three years. When I bought it I threw the name tag away because I didn't care about those things with my first few chids. Three to seven 4" blooms on 10" spikes. It usually blooms around Christmas. It's a little early this year.

Mark, that is unbelieving beautiful. Such rich deep colors. Congratulation on blooming it again.

Super colour! Bummer about the tags, but at the end of the day, it's still darn pretty!

I agree, looks like Mtssa Royal Robe 'Diplomat' to me. 'Jerry's Pick' is the other commonly available clone, but it has a solid purple lip, no markings like this one.

You guys had to tell me it's a miltassia, didn't you! Of course you are correct but you should know I Kill anything with miltonia in it? As long as I thought it was an oncidium it was safe.

    Default Not to worry...

The oncidium genes make the miltonias quite sturdy.
