I have a Nitidissimum (caudatum x Conchiferum) that basically has the same lineage as Grande. It loves water and went wild in s/h. I have a Paul Eugene Conroy (wallisii x longifolium) that also loves the constant moisture of s/h. I think most Grandes are very forgiving and can be grown moist like your typical phrag, although certain clones are probably more temperamental. But mostly that one shot of longifolium (or whatever other terrestrial species) should be dominant in terms of ease of culture.
So I would try bright and moist first and then adjust if the plant isn't growing like it should...
