Ah, you warm the cockles of my AV loving heart! I have rescued quite a few myself. Looks great!

One of two I picked up off "death row". Fortunately it turned out to have a flower color taht I like.

Beautiful violet. I might try one again, never had much luck in the past. Too dry here and dusty.

I put them on death row - glad you saved yours!

Nice velvety purple...
Do you have a pet in there too?
Haven't grown them since my grandmother was living, Many Many years ago. Makes me want to go out and buy a couple. So Pretty.

Beautiful african violet. I used to grow them also but they would wind up getting mealybugs.
Nah, smartie, strictly plants. My critters have their own quarters.
Never had any prob w/ mealies & AV's. Usually my prob is with gettng watering right. Often i'll let them completely dry out then water heavily and they just steadily decline. Curious how it will do in this bog terr since I don't plan on having any air circulation.
Nice Nep., watch out for the fertilizer around it. Also, it might give you trouble if you keep the roots too wet. They like to be situated in AV-like conditions, moist all the time, but not soaked. Good luck.
