    Cindy, that is a very typical bloom for the plants, maybe it is the picture, but a little more yellow than most.

    THESE on the other hand, are FAR from typical....

    Notice how all the petals are trying to be lips on all the flowers. I was told this will be a forever thing for this plant because it is so predominant and in all flowers.

    The other one was similar, but the petals were more open and less like lips.

    Isn't that weird. I get a certain number of plants, I sell two to one person and they both turn out to be peloric. I think there may be better odds at winning the lottery!

    To me they look a bit like snouts on an animal. Not that I know many animals with petals for heads!

    Very interesting anyway, is this the one that your wife liked, or was that the other one?

    I think this peloric is excellent! It reminds me of a lycaste
