Beautiful. Surely a winner there, Bruce. Have fun.
PS - is this one similar to the one at MSBG the newspapers were atwitter about? The Comet orchid, I think it was.

This is an Angraecum we have growing in lava rock. It hangs up with the Cattleyas and gets about the same care. This is another one we are taking today to the orchid society meeting for 'judging' and 'show -n- tell'. I hope you enjoy it!
This first one is a plant photo. The second is a close up of the blooms. We watered this morning so they are dripping all over the kitchen. LOL. But I wanted to share them with all of you.
Cheers,
BD

I've always loved those "wax" flowers. Too bad most Ang get too big for me & I've managed to kill Ang leonis when I tried that. Just have to admire beauties like your, Bruce.
BD - what is the fragrance like?
How pretty !!! I love the waxy flowers too.
BD, what is the proper pronounciation of Angraecum?
Cin
Pretty bloooms there. They remind me of a breath mint...
Beautiful and very well bloomed!!
Lovely, surely a winner!

Beautiful BD. They look like bright stars.
I am not sure. I did not notice any fragrance today in the car. I will have to check.
An - Greek - Uhm (Someone who knows phonetics could write it phonetically for you, but it sounds just like I wrote it here.)
Tami, it did win! A blue ribbon in its class and it also got plant of the month! heheheheh!
It is similar to the Angraecum at MSBG. Today at the meeting, one of the members brought in her first bloom seedling of Angrc. sesquipidale. It had one flower on the plant but the spur was almost 12 inches long!
Thanks everyone for the nice comments! I am glad you liked it.
Cheers,
BD
