I have a seedling too, Gin - it's nice to see your blooms!
Can you expect variation in coloration from year to year?

What is the leaf span on yours, Gin? I have a seedling too.
very nice!
Were you expecting red with this one, Gin? It is cute!
Cheers,

This one is on my wish list. The cultivar "4N" has more random red, but is very expensive.

Thanks for looking , I think the red markings are not consistant ?
I saw a photo of one that had a lot of red markings actually some of the blooms were half and half .
The leaf span is approx. 6 inches from the crown , it is hanging on an angle all leaves are growing downward same direction flat .. . Gin
I bought one of the ones that is supposed to have more red, with red petals and white sepals or a mix thereof. I have no idea if it will bloom out that way, as it was from seed. But it has a leaf span of just about 8" with the newest leaf, so maybe I will find out soon. Although I don't have much luck blooming species...
I saw the one with all the red , would love to have it, maybe someday .
Will be broke for awhile after the yard clean up Gin
It's very beautiful Gin.
I'm waiting impatiently for mine to bloom
and expecting it'll bring randomly some petals or sepals completely red.
It's in S/H and growing well but still small.
