    Default Raffle table winner!

I spotted the colors on this one the minute I got close to the table---my number was called 10th, luckily no one else snatched it up. I got a great phal too---

Seriously -- where are these raffle tables! You got some great new plants. I love the color on this one. It reminds me of a sunset or sherbet.

The Atlanta Orchid Society---we usually have a raffle table with lots of cool stuff--this last meeting was especially prosperous though...two tables full! It's a fun way to get different plants for a good price, plus the money you give goes towards the society. We started going to meetings a few months ago and it's a great way to learn lots of new information---more than I ever would have thought about asking.
I'm guessing most other orchid societies do this too...

That is one of the many good reasons to join your local orchid society. Plus we always have really good food at the meetings!

Beautiful orange blooms, Cindy! Well done.

    Cheers,
    BD

I should have known. I am actually a member of the local orchid society, but I am more a dues paying, newsletter reading member than an attending member. (As Gin and BD can attest. ) Although I saw that the OSO is hosting another show in the latest SWOGRA newsletter, so perhaps I should get it in gear and go help. It is just tough to manage one more thing . . .

The show we are planning is going to be even bigger than when we hosted in 2005. It is something you will not want to miss, Sadie. Try to find that one Sunday a month to come and join us.

    Cheers,
    BD
