    Cool Trichopilia suavis

One spike blooming and two more spikes on the way. It's better than christmas. This is my first species and I like it. No, that's wrong. It seduces me. The scent is a blend of honey suckle and a very feminine island girl perfume. The pics colors are spot on. I feel very good.

Excellent blooms! I like these Trichopillia species! They are a bit more fussy than oncidiums but the blooms are fun and blessed with wonderful fragrance! Another plus is that there are not many people cultivating them so everytime they bloom and you got the chance to exhibit them, there is also a wow factor!

I like how you describe the scent. The plant slightly resembles Cattleya rex to me...

    Very nice...

    Default Beautiful

Hi I purchased one in March while on vacation. It is in a 2" pot right now. I don't know a lot about them. I have had it in my greenhouse for the summer and it is very healthy right now. It is getting colder in Wisconsin so I will have to bring it inside as there is no heat in my greenhouse. I would like to know more about their culture. What size pot is yours growing in?

Sounds like something i'd like to grow. I like the plants with a nice strong perfumey scent.
