i dont grow any maxilarias-and thats because its not a usual plant to get here in israel-but i will ,1 day i will get 1
thos pix made me think again about that genera

Oh, that's fantastic! I also read that these can be tricky to re-bloom so well done! It's definitely one of my favourites, I just hope it flowers for me too. Can I ask how you grow it?

I think high light and possibly a slightly cooler winter might be the trick. It budded now the temps are warm and its spring.
Its hard for me to pinpoint what I did, it was moved around a lot. It was on a west windowsill with asian cymbidiums, but then I moved it under florescent tubes, I think I had it outside a bit too and then I moved it back to the windowsill, and then finally under metal halides in the basement where it budded....

Thank Fren. Mine gets quite high light (lives alongside the multifloral Paphs and Catts) so I'm just gonna hope for some buds soon.
