    its a lovely max......
    good on you-i wish i had 1 just like this
    i dont grow any maxilarias-and thats because its not a usual plant to get here in israel-but i will ,1 day i will get 1
    thos pix made me think again about that genera
    so nice-red,dots,fragrence-what els do we need???????

    I think high light and possibly a slightly cooler winter might be the trick. It budded now the temps are warm and its spring.
    Its hard for me to pinpoint what I did, it was moved around a lot. It was on a west windowsill with asian cymbidiums, but then I moved it under florescent tubes, I think I had it outside a bit too and then I moved it back to the windowsill, and then finally under metal halides in the basement where it budded....

    Thank Fren. Mine gets quite high light (lives alongside the multifloral Paphs and Catts) so I'm just gonna hope for some buds soon.
