If you have been planning that cattleya orchid article and have not submitted it yet, time is running out. Today is May 16. The contest ends on May 20. Get your articles in soon! Sharing your growing knowledge will not only help others, but when we teach, we often learn something as well. Put your thoughts together and submit your article. Build the forums article library and feel good about your accomplishment and who knows, you could be selected the winner of the contest and have a cute mini-catt to add to your collection!
Cheers,
BD
Come on, folks! We all have something we can contribute. You don't have to be an 'expert'. How about an article on how you grow catts in your particular growing conditions... hot and dry, hot and humid, the cold dry mountains, the humid south...etc, etc. Or how you divide your catts, or what fertilizing schedule and brew you use. It doesn't have to be "THE" way to grow catts - because there is no one right way. How bout an article on your growing medium and why it works for you? Maybe an article on what catts you would recommend for new growers.
It's our forum - participate!!!
Sigh. I struggle with catts more than any of my other orchids. I'm waiting to read articles, but I'm not in a position to be writing any!
Diane twisted my arm and Julie gave me a good idea.
I will participate and should have my article in by Friday!
Diane shaves the males and waxes the females. I LOVE IT!
GREAT ARTICLE, DIANE!
Okay...I should be working slavishly on book stuff, but I felt like messing around this morning. Except it took longer to research than I thought. Anyway...here's mine:
