I'm somewhat new to orchids, so keep in mind it may be nothing. I got this orchid right before Valentines Day of this year. It bloomed for me and then that was pretty much it. Then about 1 week or so ago I noticed this growth coming from the bottom of one of the leaves. Is this good or bad? And what is it? Thanks

If the growth is coming from the bottom of the pseudo bulb that most recently bloomed for you, that would be normal. It's making a new growth which will eventually have your new flowers. This is also where your new roots will appear. Cin is right; pictures always help!
Ther is a picture now. thanks Brutal Dreamer
Lynda pegged it...that will be a new growth...congrats
Good growing! Looks like you might want to give it a little more water now - not too much, but a little more.
Just to emphasise - when cattleyas are in growth then watering should be stepped up a bit. You still need to let them dry out though, but not for as long?
Just want to make sure us new catt growers get it right when there are growths coming up (I count 3 on mine)
Thanks Diane, just want to make sure I get it right...
