    Default Is Renenthera Monachica....

a candidate to mount? I really like the looks of the mounted orchids, but don't want to do it if it will cause harm to my cute little plant.

We had ours in a teak basket--I think yours would do really well mounted. They apparently do better out in the open than stuck in a pot...

that is good to know. They guy I purchased Chachee from insisted that they will not bloom unless they were potbound. I thought it was kind of weird, since, orchids are , you know~~ wild.

Hmmm. Never heard that they needed to be potbound to bloom. In fact, I've heard the total opposite. The one we had was hung up high in the greenhouse to get a lot of light and warmth, and it did great in its basket.

I mounted it last night, it looks really good. I can't wait until Chachee is full grown and gives me some flowers.
