A lovely plant I picked up this weekend...I just couldn't resist!
Very pretty blooms.
I agree; irresistible! Look at those big flashy flowers!
That is so lovely! The colours are just fantastic.
Love the color of the blooms, but especially love the first photo. The perspective is really cool!
Cheers,
BD
I love the Vuyls...easier to grow than Miltoniopsis but just as beautiful in my opinion. Nice buy!
Gorgeous, enjoy! I would have brought it home too.

A new plant always brightens up the house, esp. when it looks like that! Wow, pretty...you'll have to enlighten me as to the name...this one is new to me...i'm kinda new to this whole thing and studying my who-ha off trying to keep up with you all!

Connie,
Vuylstekeara is a trigeneric cross of Cochlioda (snail orchids), Miltonia (or Miltoniopsis), and Odontoglossum. They are cool/intermediate growers and like to be kept somewhat moist. This artifical (man-made) genus was named after the famous hybridizer, C. Vuylsteke of Belgium.
I wouldn't have been able to resist either! Beautiful blooms, Judi
