False. Spring is over here. It's summer now...35-40 degrees C!!! and I've been spraying my orchids 3x a day. Early in the morning(6-7), Late afternoon(4-4:30), and Before night (5:30-6). or else they all dried up.

TPBM: is repotting his orchids and giving away some to friends.

True and false...some repotting going on, but not giving away anything! In fact, my neighbor has bestowed a walking iris (neomarica gracilis) on me, and my old Ming Hsing Snow Angel is almost 6" across!!!!

Not so, but I'd be glad to!

Kinda True. Here in FL its more like spring thunderstorms and lightning. Although its funny you ask about "spring" rain since its my understanding that its always rainy season where you are, lol.

TPBM is planning new home renovations (added room, new garden, etc...).

Ah, not planning, but just finishing up one! Fixed up my grooming shop in the garage, still have quite a bit of work to do, but I'm back trimming dogs.

BTW, I don't live on the coast, where its 3/4 of the year in wet season. I live on the east side of the mountains, where it is semi desert - about 12" of precip a year and very dry, windy, cold in the winter and hot in the summer.

TPBM has a vegetable garden in the summers and is planning or planting it now!

A resounding "false"! Being an apt dweller with a small balcony, outdoor gardening would only be a fantasy. This would be too early to plant most things anyway. In my area, it is generally unwise to attempt to plant any sort of crops before the end of May. Weather is far too unpredictable with regards to temperature this time of year. (We got a couple inches of snowfall just last week.)

TPBM celebrated Easter with family this past weekend.

Unfortunately, False. I've been pulling 11 hr. shifts at work lately and the only day I had off was Easter. What time I didn't spend sleeping and cleaning house, I spent on spending a little extra time on my orchids since it will be 2 weeks before I get another day off. And yet, I keep buying more. I have knocked two orchids off my wish list and the search continues for the rest.

TPBM is also on a quest to fulfill their own wish list.

Sort of true. Don't really have a wish list any more, only buying whatever pleases me at the time. I am heading to a local grower this Saturday to buy some of his divisions.

TPBM is enjoying the fava beans from the spring garden.

False. I just returned from vacation.

TPBM is doing 'spring cleaning' of their orchids and are sending the extras to me!
