    Default Slc Jungle Gem

This is a plant that I got at the same time as the one I am naming after my mother. It is Slc Jungle Gem. I love the jungley spots on it and the deeeeeep color. I was not expecting such a deep maroon color as all the pictures I had seen on line were of more yellow and heavily spotted flowers. Only one intimated the dominance of the maroon.

I think I got a pretty unique color and will be contacting the seller to see what he thinks. I think I know what flower I want to cross it with too.

I agree, it IS very beautiful. It is actually much darker than the image portrays. Darn red is SO tough to portray. I will keep trying.

Stunning color! I've always been a sucker for deep red flowers like that, though always a little disappointed when the color fades and becomes pinkier, though I would guess that since it isn't in the direct sunlight, the color stays better?

This is the first time I am flowering it so I do not know how the color saturation will hold out.

Lovely deep colours! And I just love that flat lip, it looks kinda different from other catts. It isn't fully developed on that pic is it??

The flower is only open a couple of days there. I am waiting to see if it opens further. I sure hope so.
