    Default 2 garden pics

This is one of my favorite Hostas. Prior to getting into orchids I was into Hostas and had 200 varieties. It was a terrible thing to have a Hosta obsession...so glad I am no longer obsessed I put a quarter in the picture for size perspective.

Here is one of my garden sculptures. This one is named Felix.

The sculpture weights 6.5 pounds, less than my cat. He will be 3 at the end of the month.

Cute pooch, rather have the hosta, it doesn't need taking for walks in the rain!Don't you have slugs? Those leaves look perfect! I have quite a big collection of hostas, but I haven't tried minatures yet, don't get me started, I have an addictive personality! Judi

Felix is a cutie, he looks like a min-pin, Jack Russel Cross. Am I close???
Your hosta is a beauty too, I Love the BIG blue ones. I don't think that I can grow them down here.

He is a Rat Terrier. Felix is my bud...I have never owned a lap dog before. This one came to me by accident. I have always had German shepherds and shepherd mixes.

If I am gone for 5 minutes he greets me like I have been gone all day. He always looks forward to going to the greenhouse with me. I think it is a new hunting ground for him. In nice weather, I leave the potting shed door ajar and he wanders the woods but checks back regularly. He is a Rat Terrier. He likes to hunt. He got his first rat this week. I had never seen a rat in the area before but I found this one dead on the lawn. He had been wanting to go into the garage all week. I figured a mouse might have made a nest in there. well I guess this thing wandered in and Felix knew it. I wish he would leave the snakes alone though. He likes to hunt them as well. It is comical seeing him chase a frog across the lawn.

Friend's make fun of him because he is so small, 6.5 lbs. I always tell them to be careful for he was trained by the same trainer that trained the rabbit in 'Search for the Holy Grail' :BGIL:

That sculpture ... so life like LOL.

I love that hosta! I've been trying to find some mini's like that for up at my folks' place. Happen to know the name of that one, Ron? Is it a slow medium or fast grower?
