Neat! I especially like the ones on right, Nelson! Appears to be a mini [& therefore just my size!] I haven't heard of this species before. How difficult is its culture? Once a year bloomer?

Wow, Nelson! Cool little blooms! The color is so striking for such a tiny plant. What are you growing them in? I haven't heard of this one either. Where is it's native habitat?

Intermediate to cool but not too difficult to grow. The plants I have bloom once a year but in the nursery where they came from, the plants bloom almost all year round.

They are in tiny clay pots with coconut coir. The plants are endemic to the mountains of central and northern Luzon.

Beautiful colour! Another beauty from the Philippines aye. Gosh, going through your plant fotos is like a holiday without getting off the couch. Thanks Nelson..

By the way, is there much being done as far as propagation of these plants in the lab? ie flasking etc etc...

However, I shall commence with pollination and hybridizing once my nethouse is set-up, hopefully by the end of this year.

Wow...LOVE those. I worry about putting too many cool growers on my list here, though. Too much sun and dry heat!

Thanks for sharing! Will be interested to follow your progress with propagation!

I had such a rough battle growing this guy, they need lots more humidity than i can aequately offer here in California, plus they like good quality water. Id compare it to Den cutherbertsonii as far as difficulty is concerned..
