    Does the orange against the yellow change any depending on what time of year the plant blooms? Looks like it might. (In other words, more orange in summer. less orange and more yellow in winter?) I really like orange phals--wish I could get hold of more of them.

    Very nice, sgratrix! I love orange colored blooms! Heck, I love all blooms. Thanks for posting the pic! BTW, did you cut the bloom off to photograph it? I hope not, it is so beautiful! I especially like phals that have the point on the ends of the blooms vs the ones that are just round. JMHO

    Pretty color - I too love the apricot/orangey blooms. I don't know what you photographed it on but there is something rather sparkly, almost like a wet spiderweb, showing through that makes it a rathing interesting photo.
