My Coelogyne verrucosa has just bloomed. C verrucosa is often confused with C pandurata which it quite closely resembles. What differentiate it from pandurata are its flattened, oval pseudobulb; its lack of scent[pndurata is heavily honey-scented] and the presence of a cluster of whitish warts in the centre of the lip. The flower measures 7cm across.

This is AMAZING, Yew Sung! Green is my favorite bloom color, and this inflorescense is really green. This is moving straight to the top of the wish list.
How do you treat it/culture it Yew? Think it would be able to handle my windowsill?
Great looking blooms! I have always admired this Coelogyne. I think I need to add this to my wish list, Yew.
Cheers,

Is this a warm growing specie? saw some the other day next to the Vandas at the botanic gardens. Hot and humid part of the conservatory. The baskets were too high to read the tag.
I liked the leaves a lot.
This one is great if you can post some culture/ care notes that would be great,
stefano
Nice blooms! Good job growing it!
Very lovely.
wonderful!
the lip is so awesome, you have a close up?
beautiful! The lip is also the wrong shape for pandurata, which is fiddle-shaped. It is lovely!
