sunburn update

update on my sunburnt leaves

it turned brown, and i decided to cut it off since its getting worse with no improvement and seems to be affecting the good part of the leaves. now i have 2 leaves left, its been a week now, and the plant seems to be ok. the new leaf bud is growing ever so slowly but it looks healthy.

the good thing in this whole ordeal is that my wife decided to get me a new Phal so i dont get that moody when i look at my amputated orchid.

Are you sure you didn't burn it just to get the 'sympathy' plant?? Very clever... Hope both do just great!

lol no i didnt do it on purpose. besides the "sympathy plants" flowers are pink. not exactly what i like in an orchid. I like the white flowered orchids. wife really like pink so thats what she got for herself and me.

the sunburnt one is recovering really well. I thought it would die cuz of the lack of leaves, but i think me cutting off the bad leaves helped. cuz now all the energy is put towards the new leaf growing. it really plump and green.
